Contraindications: Increased risk of serotonin syndrome with MAOIs. Uncontrolled narrow‐angle glaucoma.

Warnings and precautions: Serotonin syndrome. Discontinuation symptoms. History of mania or a diagnosis of bipolar disorder and/or seizures. Increased intraocular pressure, or those at risk of acute narrow‐angle glaucoma. Monitor Blood Pressure in patients with known Hypertension and/or other cardiac disease. Concomitant use with antidepressants. Monitor for any clinical worsening, suicidal behaviour or thoughts, unusual changes in behaviour. Haemorrhage, hyponatraemia. Akathisia/psychomotor restlessness. Hepatic impairment/injury. Fructose intolerance, glucose-galactose malabsorption or sucrose-isomaltase insufficiency. May impair ability to drive or operate machinery. Pregnancy & lactation. Elderly. Children less than 18 years old.
Adverse reactions: Nausea, dry mouth, somnolence, constipation, decreased appetite, hyperhidrosis, agitation, fatigue, dizziness.
