Strattera is a non-controlled medication indicated for the treatment of ADHD children of 6 years and older, in adolescents and in adults as part of a comprehensive treatment programme. It is not a stimulant and is not a controlled substance under the Controlled Substances Act.

Children and adults may have always struggled to be attentive, was often hyperactive and impulsive. Now you may know that these can be symptoms of Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). ADHD is treatable.

ADHD is a diagnosis applied to children and adults who consistently display certain symptoms over a period of time, at least 6 months. ADHD can cause impairment at home, school, and in relationships, so it′s important to treat ADHD if your child exhibits symptoms. The most common core features include these types of behaviors:

  • Inattentiveness
  • Hyperactivity
  • Impulsivity

The exact impairment and severity of ADHD symptoms vary from person to person.
